Aftab Singh Winner of Rising Star 3 Grand Finale
After impressing the viewers with numerous melodious performances for almost three months, Rising Star 3 has finally concluded with the announcement of its winner. Faridkot Punjab’s Aftab Singh is the winner of Rising Star 3. Aftab who was youngest among the four finalists walked home with the prestigious trophy and cash prize of Rs. 10 lakh.
Rising Star 3 Grand Finale 2019 Winner 12-year-old Aftab learns music from his father Mahesh Singh. He has also participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017 and was among the top 7. Aftab was the first to get the ticket to finale.

The final competition was between Aftab Singh, Diwakar Sharma, Sanjay Satheesh and Abhishek Saraph. And it was Abhishek Saraph who was eliminated first with 76% votes, which left him disappointed.
Diwakar Sharma was the top scorer in the first round with 91% votes as he sang Bulleya, while Sanjay Satheesh tied with Aftab Singh, as both of them got 90% votes. Judges decided to allow all the three to go to the next round.

For the final round, Diwakar crooned Ramta Jogi and garnered 82% votes while Sanjay sang Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and got 76% votes and had to leave the show.
Aftab was under pressure as he had to score more than 82% to win the show. However, he sang Tharki Chokro, got 89% votes and won the show.

First, runner-up, Diwakar Sharma got a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh.
The third season of India’s first live reality shows Rising Star premiered on March 16. Shankar Mahadevan and Diljit Dosanjh returned as judges while Monali Thakur was replaced by singer Neeti Mohan. One the other hand Aditya Narayan replaced Ravi Dubey as the show’s host.
