He impressed the gang leaders in the culling around but couldn’t get a direct entry in the show. However, after he entered as wild card contestant, there was no looking back. He was one of the strongest contestants of Roadies Real Heroes. In the finale task, Arun emerged victorious, which was the ultimate test of strength and courage, where he had to rescue his gang leader and gang members.

In an exclusive chat with India Today Online, Arun Sharma expressed his excitement. “For me, the journey has been quite different. I got rejected in the culling round. Rannvijay sir told you are very strong but are also very sweet. And that is something, which doesn’t work on Roadies as one needs to be smart and cunning. After being rejected, I was called for the wild card entry.

As a wild card contestant, it’s extremely difficult. It feels like joining a class during mid-session, where everyone is friends and no one likes you, be it the gang leaders or the contestants. From day one to the last vote out, they wanted me out of the show. From being the target to winning the show, the feeling is amazing. All the physical and mental strain was worth it.”

Arun Sharma won a superbike from Droom.in and a year worth free stay in OYO Homes.

This is Raftaar’s second stint with Roadies as a gang leader but for the first time, his gang has won the show. Arun looks up to Raftaar and feels he played the part of Krishna while he was the Arjun in Roadies Real Heroes. “During the finale task, Raftaar sir was my Krishna and I felt like Arjun.

He was guiding me throughout the finale task. It was emotional for me as well. Earlier, I wanted to be a part of gang Prince but, there was no place in his gang so I became a part of gang Raftaar. Gradually we earned each other’s trust. He was always there for me giving me directions, throughout my Roadies journey,” he added.
